From last three months what i have been doing is irritating every person close to me telling them that i need a vacation.Thanks to all those people who had a patience to bear with me.If i would be in their place i would have thrown a brick at the person irritating me that way.Thank god i have wonderful friends and very calm and patient flatmates. The first time i was **forced** to watch cricket was when i was 7 years old.I don't remember who made me watch it but thanks to them.All i remember about that match is, it was a India-Pakistan match and Sachin Tendulkar was playing.I didnt know what it was all about.I was just trying to understand why a guy was throwing the ball and why was the other hitting it with a bat. My parents would definately thrash the person who made me watch cricket because then the madness never stopped.I dance,I cry,I scream,I abuse...I do all these while watching cricket.The madness just gets more and more...... Hello Everyone :) Truly said Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus.We always try to understand the other but how much ever we try it really doesnt seem to be happening.Probably our heart and brain completely works in the opposite direction.The things i write here is completely my point of view and just from the experiences I went through. Sunday is the most awaited day.I personally feel Sundays need to be of atleast 72hrs.There is so much of things I plan to do every Sunday that even 72hours will seem short to me but realistically I have to get done with everything within 24 hours.From last three Sundays i have been too lazy.I have not gone out shopping or for a movie(I was surprised when i thought about it today),not met any friends or relatives.I am not regretting any of it because i did love all those lazy sundays.Its good to be lazy sometimes. I dont need a friendship day to tell how special a friend she is.For me everyday is a friendship day when she is around. Friends are the most imporatant part of your life and if you have a friend like her then you are the most blessed human being. 16th Dec 2012, I was getting bored watching the daily soaps and was constantly changing channels.I caught the  a news on AAJ TAK about a  gangrape case.After all the daily soaps drama i was not in a mood to watch it and just changed the channel. During my vacation time my mornings are the laziest.A coffee mug in my hand, i start reading the newspaper and I am taken back as i read the same news i saw last night on TV on the front page.I didnt know that the news which thought to be just another rape case is something that  will shake the nation.The very next moment i turn on the  TV and this news is all over every news channel.The news i saw was so shocking that for some moments i was just hoping its just a dream.How can human beings turn up this brutal???But it was the harsh reality. On a Mid-May morning,as usual it was a routine day at office.It was a weekly goal-setting day where i was in a meeting with my MD.Suddenly my phone rings and its one of my friend Anshul calling me up.I was just wondering why has he called me up this morning(which he normally does not unless it is important).But as i was in a meeting i just disconnected it and send a text of-"call you back later".Suddenly within a moment i get the text back.I was just expecting a "Ok" but the text i saw made me numb for a few seconds. Yesterday while cleaning off my cupboard just got hold of the book "MEN ARE FROM MARS AND WOMEN ARE FROM VENUS".Everybody should read this book atleast once.Actually you dont have to read the whole book,just 50 pages is enough to know what the author wants to say.After that its a merry-go-round-same things repeated.The worst part of the book  is the author says a girl or a guy behaves in  a particular manner and den dont provide the solution of how to deal with it.Grrrr...Its like a doctor saying you have this disease but i wont provide you the medicines.. In school we are taught to respect all religion,cultures,languages etc.But how far do we carry this teachings along with us.Is it only till we get done with the exams and score good marks.Seeing the scenario today it definitely seems so.In this post i am not gooing to talk about the teaching scenario but i have a topic which has been there in my mind since long. Being born in a Education town of India makes you education-centric howmuch ever you try to get out of it.Wherever you go you end up near a school or a college. When you are on a vacation and you have nothing to do,you always enjoy the company of childrens. Been playing with them,teaching them their school stuff,doing their so-called extraordinary projects(it drains of your energy..but its fun).While doing these activities was going through the text books(NCERT).The syllabus has been improved as if someone has just waved a magic wand.Its not the outdated boring syllabus anymore.Its much more interesting and much more practical. The first thing i did this new year was to write my wishlist.From the day i started reading the book "The Secret Wishlist",I always wanted to make one.And finally the Wishlist is ready and i am very sure of getting all those by the end of this year.
